Our History
In 1962, under the laws of Colorado, Hathaway Corporation was incorporated as a public company. In 2003, that company was renamed Allied Motion Technologies. Twenty years later (2023), we expanded our technology offering and changed our name to Allient (Allied Nexus Technologies) to reflect the breadth of capabilities and products we offer that go beyond motion. Today, Allient is headquartered in Amherst, New York, and serves customers throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Asia via our Technology Units, Sales Units, and Solution Centers.
