Ben Vespone Appointed as Director of Engineering at Allient Rochester
Buffalo, N.Y. – 4 February, 2026 – Allient Inc. (Nasdaq: ALNT) (“Allient” or the “Company”), a global designer and manufacturer of speciality Motion, Controls and Power products and solutions for targeted industries and applications, has today announced the appointment of Ben Vespone as Director of Engineering at Allient Rochester (formerly ORMEC Systems).
In this role, Ben will be responsible for all new product development and value-add design and integration projects, with the Allient Rochester engineering team reporting to him.
Ben holds bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering from the University of Rochester and brings strong experience launching complex new electronic and electromechanical products and solutions into highly regulated markets. His hands-on design and leadership experience spans electronics, embedded systems, motion control, requirements management, risk analysis, standards compliance, and collaborative new product development execution. He also excels at aligning engineering investments with business strategy, coaching and developing engineers, and navigating customer-facing technical and commercial challenges to deliver great outcomes.
Allient Rochester designs and manufactures servo drives, motion controllers, single & multi-axis integrated assemblies, and value-add sub-system and system level solutions for mission-critical motion control applications. Its technical experts collaborate closely with customers and Allient’s global solutions team to help them meet complex technical challenges, achieve strategic business goals, and deliver greater value to their end users.
